La actitud del trol:

"En la jerga de Internet, un troll (a veces trol) es un mensaje u otra forma de participación que busca intencionadamente provocar reacciones predecibles, especialmente por parte de usuarios novatos, con fines diversos, desde el simple divertimento hasta interrumpir o desviar los hilos de las discusiones, o bien provocar flamewars, enfadando a sus participantes y enfrentándolos entre sí. El troll puede ser más o menos sofisticado, desde mensajes groseros, ofensivos o fuera de tema, a sutiles provocaciones o mentiras difíciles de detectar, con la intención en cualquier caso de confundir o provocar la reacción de los demás.

"Pero ¿qué sentido tiene esto? ¿Quién podría hacer tal cosa?", se volverán a preguntar. La respuesta es simple: gente que tiene mucho tiempo libre, o mucho resentimiento libre (adolescentes en vacaciones, adultos mal llevados, ex parejas, y gente con acceso a internet en general).

Un ejemplo clásico: alguien que sabe que te encantan las papas fritas espera a que escribas un post acerca de la comida y deja un comentario diciendo algo como "Es cierto, y también están los tarados que comen papas fritas", con toda la intención de que te moleste y le respondas. Pero generalmente se vuelve fácil detectarlos, por la mala leche que destilan sus comentarios.

Así que, queridos amiguitos: No alimentar al troll.
